Curry says Iverson may return sooner than expected

"“He doesn’t think he’ll have to be out the entire two weeks,” Pistons coach Michael Curry said. “He wants to get back out there as soon as possible. Hopefully, with the treatments and the rest, he’ll feel better and we’ll get him out there as soon as possible.”"

Maybe Iverson is healing quicker than the doctors originally thought he could. Or maybe all the negative publicity motivated him to end the distraction.

Bob Wojnowski of the Detroit News had a pretty dead-on column on the topic today. But I think the Pistons will get the fourth or fifth seed. So the chance of upsetting one of the East’s big three won’t come until the second round.
