Yes, that Dwayne Jones.

The one who played with Delonte West, Jameer Nelson and Chet Stachitas at St. Joes and was once the Atlantic 10 defensive player of the year. Also the guy who makes Kwame Brown look like Hakeem Olajuwon in the post and has played for three different teams in his brief four season career in the NBA. Yep, that Dwayne Jones will be on the Piston’s Vegas Summer-League team along with ten other players.

The Pistons will begin play on July 10th against the Kings.  Full schedule here.

The rest of the cast includes,

-Rookies Austin Daye, DaJuan Summers and Jonas Jerebko.

No surprise here.

-Last year’s draft picks Walter Sharpe, Deron Washington and Trent Plaisted.

(Walter must impress or he might find himself unwanted next season, or playing in Poland, or both)

-Will Bynum

(Wait, what? Maybe this is a good thing to get Will some more time at point guard, but I’d be afraid of Will shooting the rock too much. I’m gonna come out and say he leads the team in scoring, but who cares if he does.  Him playing in this league seems pointless)

-Slender point guard Ibrahim Jaaber, former Ivy League player of the year at Penn, twice. Also played on the 2007 Pistons’ summer-league team.

-Matt Freije, former Vanderbilt sharp shooting forward. The former late second round pick of the Heat actually has 11 NBA starts to his credit. No kidding.

-And last but not least 29 year old guard Clay Tucker, former Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panther standout.

So what I want to know is,

Who will lead the team in scoring (Bynum not an option)?
