The price for Johan Petro: a second-round pick from the New Jersey Nets

facebooktwitterreddit

In exchange for taking Johan Petro, the Pistons will receive a second-round pick from the Nets, according to Chris Broussard of ESPN.

No word on when the Pistons would get the pick or who originally owned the pick. The Pistons already have two second-round picks this year (Toronto’s and the lower of Denver’s and Portland’s*), so I’m not sure they’re hankering for it right away. The Nets own Miami’s 2012 second rounder.

*There are conflicting reports about which pick the Pistons get. NBADraft.net says the Heat’s. RealGM.com says Denver’s or Portland’s. For now, I’ll go with Keith Langlois, although he could just be getting his info from RealGM.
