Predicting the top five in the NBA Draft in ESPN’s five-on-five

My picks are no surprise to those who read my mock draft on PistonPowered, but I participated in ESPN’s recent 5-on-5 with four other writers to give some thoughts on who the top five picks in Thursday’s NBA Draft will be.

Kyrie Irving and Derrick Williams were the unanimous 1-2 picks, so no one in the group was buying the recent bluffs that Cleveland may not take Irving No. 1. I was the only writer who picked Jonas Valuncianas to go No. 3 overall. But like Kevin Sawyer at Detroit Bad Boys, I just can’t imagine why a team would take Knight as high as No. 3 overall.
