Ben Wallace still working out with Pistons

Vincent Goodwill of The Detroit News notes that, though he’s not an official training camp invitee like Jonny Flynn and Terrence Williams, Ben Wallace is still ‘around:’

"Ben Wallace wasn’t at Media Day, nor will he be a camp invitee, although he’s still hoping for a spot to open up. The Pistons didn’t want to risk having to cut Wallace, considering they have 15 guaranteed contracts.It doesn’t mean he’s been out of sight, or out of mind. He’s been working out with the team, giving pointers to the likes of Drummond."

Tayshaun Prince also told Goodwill that he’s rooting for a Wallace signing, as he thinks it will be important for the team’s young big men to have to deal with Wallace’s physical presence in practice on a daily basis.
