4. Brooklyn Nets

I don’t really know what to make of this team. Worst case scenario they’re an 8 seed, limp into the post-season on tired old knees and get bounced by Chris Bosh and Miami’s B-team. On the other hand, there is just a ton of talent on this roster, from PER stud Brook Lopez (a big man with a good scoring touch is a pretty nice thing to have!), a formerly great and perhaps still very good point guard Deron Williams, and some over the hill but still dangerous threats in Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett. The wild card of course is Andrei Kirilenko, who took less money to join his favorite Russian oligarch’s cash receptacle. AK-47 is also a bit on the over the hill side, but subtle and dangerous. His passing acumen will be huge for a team that’s talent was mired in dissonance.
