Two former Baylor Bears will be in Detroit later this month to work out for the Pistons.
I gather Baylor bigs Cory Jefferson and Isaiah Austin will be in to workout for #Pistons on June 16.

Senior Cory Jefferson is considered a fringe 2nd round pick by many experts. The 6’9″ power forward averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds a game for the 26-12 Baylor Bears, who advanced to the sweet sixteen before losing to the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA tournament.
Austin is a top 40 prospect at center, and will most likely be selected in the beginning of the second round. Austin finished the season averaging 11 points per game and just over five rebounds.
As a freshman, Austin averaged 8 rebounds a game for Baylor
Both have tremendous upside as forwards and could be targets with the 38th pick.
In the latest mock draft from the experts at DraftExpress, Austin is slated to go 36th to the Milwaukee Bucks, while Jefferson wasn’t selected by a team in the second round.
Before heading to Baylor, many thought that Austin could be a top 10 pick in last year’s NBA Draft. After a inconsistent freshman year, he returned for another year under head coach Scott Drew. He ended up struggling his sophomore year as well, while trying to find an identity on the court.
At seven foot tall, he has shown great range as well as a decent post up game that could obviously translate to the NBA solely based on his size.
Cory Jefferson also saw a decline in his draft stock from his junior year to his senior campaign. The power forward has struggled at times to find a post up game. He is extremely athletic though and could be molded into a solid contributor under the right coaching
Both Isaiah Austin and Cory Jefferson will be the first post players to work out for the Pistons before the draft.
