DeAndre Liggins — Shooting Guard

The former teammate of Jodie Meeks at Kentucky and Stan Van Gundy draftee in Orlando was the Developmental League Defensive player of the year last season.

What makes Liggins so fun to watch is the fact that he is very athletic, yet he’s taken the time the last few seasons to really hone in on some of the fundamentals his game was missing.

Unlike most players in the Developmental League,  Liggins is already skilled enough to be in the NBA.

After facing criminal charges, Liggins is now working his way back to a chance in the league.

Liggins’ style of play fits what Stan Van Gundy is missing off the bench, as his squad could really use a athletic wing.

He averaged 14 points, 5 assists and 3 steals a game in 42 contests with the Sioux Falls Skyforce last season.
