Pistons Palace Podcast: Presto in the Paint's Zach Oliver

Wow SVG and company have been busy behind the scenes looking to build a winner, the Pistons Palace staff has also been working hard behind the scenes to bring you the best in Pistons commentary and analysis.

Today, we introduce to you the Pistons Palace podcast.

In our inaugural episode, we are joined by Presto in the Paint lead editor Zach Oliver, who covered the Orlando Pro Summer League.

Zach joins us to break down the performance of the Pistons and the Magic in Orlando and his overall experience covering the Summer League.

We also touched on the vision of both the Pistons and the Magic. Zach broke down what Magic fans felt about the NBA Draft and how the team passed on Dante Exum.

We also discussed Ben Gordon, Aaron Gordon and how Channing Frye makes Orlando a better all-around team.

Oliver also gives us perspective on the Stan Van Gundy experience, and how this off-season is being used to set up the future for the Pistons.

We also compared the two rebuilding projects of the Pistons and Magic and how they are different.

After discussing both the Magic and Pistons, we break down what is turning into an interesting free agency period. Restricted free agency has become a really strange anomaly for some teams.

Unless you’re willing to spend 15 million to sign a player.

Thanks to Zach for joining us in our inaugural episode of the show. We’ll be bringing you more off-season talk and getting you ready for the 2014-15 season through the podcast this summer and use it as a tool during the regular season.

Thanks for listening!
