Marc Stein of ESPN:

"Veteran NBA assistant coach and former D-League head coach Scott Roth is leaving Pistons to become new HC at Sevilla in Spanish League"

John Loyer hired Roth to fill out the bench when the Pistons fired Maurice Cheeks and assistant Maz Trakh last season. Roth had a heck of a run with Detroit. Best of luck to him in Spain.

Last I heard, Loyer was still under contract for another season. He won’t be an assistant coach on Stan Van Gundy’s staff, so he’ll probably fill some other role in the organization or, like Roth, find a soft landing spot.
