The over/under for each NBA team’s wins this season:

"Cavaliers — 58.5Thunder — 57.5Spurs — 56.5Bulls — 55.5Clippers — 55.5Warriors — 50.5Rockets — 49.5Mavericks — 49.5Raptors — 49.5Wizards — 49.5Trailblazers — 48.5Grizzlies — 48.5Hornets — 45.5Heat — 43.5Suns — 42.5Nets — 41.5Pelicans — 41.5Nuggets — 40.5Hawks — 40.5Knicks — 40.5Pistons — 36.5Pacers — 32.5Lakers — 31.5Kings — 30.5Magic — 28.5Celtics — 26.5Timberwolves — 25.5Jazz — 25.5Bucks — 24.576ers — 15.5"

That has the Pistons 10th in the East and out of the playoffs. Obviously, that would be a disappointing result in Stan Van Gundy’s first season.

On the bright side, that would mean the Pistons – who went 29-53 last season – improve by 7.5 wins. Only the Cavaliers (+25.5) and Bucks (+9.5) are projected to have larger jumps, and Detroit is tied with the Bulls and Pelicans at +7.5. Winning around 36 or 37 games would give the Pistons something to build on.

That said, I predicted Detroit would win 41 games – so I’m taking the over. What do you think? Will the Pistons win more or less than 36.5 games?
