Late in the Pistons’ 118-99 loss to the Trail Blazers tonight, Shawne Williams got in the face of Meyers Leonard after Leonard maybe pushed him in the back. Joel Freeland stuck up for his teammate, and Williams head-butted Freeland. Freeland head-butted back more aggressively.

Williams (for starting it) and Freeland (for escalating it) should receive the same penalty – at least a fine, maybe a one-game suspension.

The lesson: Losing night straight games is frustrating.
