The Pistons assigned Quincy Miller to the D-League on Wednesday.

Today, they recalled him.

Between, Miller had 26 points (on 8-of-22 shooting) and 15 rebounds for the Grand Rapids Drive.

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve said it this season, but having their own D-League affiliate – especially in nearby Grand Rapids – is a nice advantage for the Pistons. Miller has yet to play in a game for the Pistons, but they can still send him down, get him a little run and have him back back to the parent club providing depth. It’s a win-win.
