Final. 102. 170. 78. 64

F. On a night nearly all the Pistons were dreadful, Caldwell-Pope sticks out. He shot 1-for-6 with no rebounds, one assist and one turnover. He also committed four fouls in just 14 minutes (!) because he couldn’t stay in front of his man.. SG. Pistons. KENTAVIOUS CALDWELL-POPE

REGGIE JACKSON. F. Jackson shot 3-of-16, including 2-of-11 in the paint. The Hornets’ defense is just too tough to drive wildly into bodies, but Jackson repeatedly tried anyway. He also had eight assists and seven rebounds.. PG. Pistons

ANDRE DRUMMOND. D+. Drummond played fewer than seven minutes in the first half due to foul trouble, and he needs to do a better job avoiding the dumb fouls that send him to the bench. On the court, Drummond was only marginally better. He shot 6-for-15 from the field and 1-for-7 from the free-throw line, and he failed to make much of a defensive impact. Still, he finished with 13 points and nine rebounds, because he’s too big and talented to get completely shut down even in a  bad game.. C. Pistons

SG. Pistons. JODIE MEEKS. C+. Meeks led the Pistons with 15 points, his most in four weeks. If the Pistons had a bright spot, it was him. But Meeks also shot just 1-of-4 on 3-pointers, dropping him to 33.5 percent from beyond the arc for the season. That’s concerning.

D+. Tolliver’s final line – 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists – was indicative of his solid performance in those categories. But it ignores how out of sorts he was defensively, a key problem in Detroit’s pick-and-roll coverage.. PF. Pistons. ANTHONY TOLLIVER

C. Pistons. JOEL ANTHONY. B+. Anthony (six points, seven rebounds, four blocks and two steals) played well in a limited role, as he does. This was a good matchup for him.

D. Butler had three assists, his most in more than a month. Butler’s passing was a nice development, but it doesn’t offsets his 2-of-6 shooting and lackluster defense.. SF. Pistons. CARON BUTLER

SF. Pistons. TAYSHAUN PRINCE. D. Four points, seven rebounds and very little of note.

D. With Spencer Dinwiddie out due to injury, Lucas was fine for a third point guard pressed into action – which is nothing to get excited about. Lucas finished with six points on 2-of-8 shooting with four assists  and a turnover.. PG. Pistons. JOHN LUCAS III

SHAWNE WILLIAMS. C-. He shoots, he scores! Williams had missed 12 straight shots over four games before hitting his first shot tonight.. F. Pistons

Martin had a very nice pump fake and drive in garbage time against a defense that didn’t seem to care whether he scored.. SF. Pistons. CARTIER MARTIN. I

I. In garbage time, Miller made his Pistons debut.. SF. Pistons. QUINCY MILLER

Head Coach. Pistons. STAN VAN GUNDY. D-. Stan <a href=
