Playing the role of Stan Van Gundy and Jeff Bower, I used NBA 2k17 to decide on offseason decisions that are imminent for the Detroit Pistons.

The Detroit Pistons are currently in the midst of the third offseason under the Van Gundy-Bower adminstration and after a down year, this could be the offseason that defines the legacy of Stan Van Gundy and his crew. There are many offseason decisions to be made including the extension of polarizing guard, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and the futures of the team through the NBA Draft.

No matter how many followers I have or how often I tweet (@shamshammgod), the Van Gundy-Bower adminstration never seem to heed my warnings or inquire about my resolutions to fix this underwhelming squad. Upon this revelation, I decided late on a Saturday night that I have the power to take control of this team and make powerful decisions from the comfort of my Minneapolis apartment through the clairvoyant tool that is NBA 2k17.

It was time. I grabbed a cold beverage, sat down, and took reigns of one of the most storied franchises in NBA history.
