Within minutes of the Detroit Pistons’ selection of Luke Kennard with the 12th pick, his new teammates took to Twitter to welcome him.

It didn’t take long for news of the Detroit Pistons’ selection of Luke Kennard in the 2017 NBA draft to make its way to his new teammates. Kennard was quickly and immediately welcomed online via twitter by Andre Drummond, Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris and Tobias Harris.

Kennard is a 6’5″ shooting guard out of Duke. He’s a knock-down three-point shooter who should help fill one of the biggest needs on the roster next season. Pistons fans will have their first opportunity to see him play when he joins the Orlando Summer League team in July.
