The Detroit Pistons are still looking to finalize their roster and the backup center position appears to be of need. Here are several internal and external options.

It appears the Detroit Pistons roster is set with newly-claimed forward Christian Wood, who is one option to play backup center.

However, his contract is still non-guaranteed. The Pistons could move into the season with Wood as their 15th man, or they could prefer to sign a free agent to a veteran-minimum level contract to fill the center position.

Langston Galloway’s $7 million salary could also be moved, given the Pistons surplus of two-guards, and moving him for a center could be an option the Pistons pursue.
