The Pistons are looking to put the last few spots on the team together as they approach training camp. The team added forwards Todd Withers and Donta Hall as roster hopefuls Monday.

The Detroit Pistons reportedly signed Summer League participants Todd Withers and Donta Hall to Exhibit 10 contracts on Monday, according to Yahoo Sports’ Keith Smith.

An Exhibit 10 contract, according to Slam Online, is a one-year, minimum salary contract that can be converted into a two-way contract or allows the organization to option them to their Gatorade League affiliate. That being said, the contracts are likely non-guaranteed and allows the Pistons to pull them from their payroll without a cap hit.

Withers played on the Pistons’ G-League affiliate Grand Rapids Drive last season. Hall went undrafted in 2019 out of Alabama. They join the players at the back-end of the roster looking to earn a spot in training camp.

Withers, 23, averaged 6.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, one steal and one assist per game in 48 games for the Drive last season.

He played in all five of the Pistons’ Summer League games this offseason, averaging 10 points per game on 57 percent shooting and 3.6 rebounds per game in just under 19 minutes per game.

If the Pistons select them to two-way contracts, that would force their hand with Jordan Bone or Louis King, who already occupy the Pistons two-way contract spots.
