Hollinger: Pistons have 10th best shot at making the playoffs in the East

John Hollinger of ESPN crunched his most recent playoff odds (Insider required), and he currently has the Pistons with a 14.5 percent chance of making the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.

Hollinger predicts they’ll finish 10th overall with a 31-51 record, four games behind ninth place Indiana and seven games out of the eighth spot, which Hollinger predicts Philadelphia will get.

The Pistons are currently on pace to win 27 games, so Hollinger’s 31 win prediction, while still terrible, actually suggests the Pistons might play slightly better the rest of the way.
