Chad Ford’s source in Detroit on Pistons’ trade outlook: “nothing at the moment”

Chad Ford of ESPN:

"We thought the Pistons would be among the teams most likely to make a deal before Thursday’s trade deadline, but a source in Detroit says that there’s "nothing at the moment.""

"Tayshaun Prince has also been mentioned as a possible trade chip, but several GMs around the league seem to be convinced that the Pistons aren’t inclined to trade him before the deadline."

Best-case scenario: After negotiations with the Nets became public, tight-lipped Joe Dumars is playing things even closer to the vest.

Most-likely scenario: Ford has always been plugged in to the Pistons. If he says the Pistons don’t have anything cooking, they probably don’t.
