Pistons likely promoting George David to replace Scott Perry

David Aldridge of NBA.com:

"Source: Pistons likely to promote Director of Scouting George David to assistant GM to replace Scott Perry, who took Asst GM job in Orlando."

This will be an interesting test of the Tom Gores regime. Will the Pistons replace David or just with a smaller – and cheaper – front office?
