Joe Dumars’ new No. 2: George David replaces Scott Perry

"Pistons promote to George David to assistant GM, replacing Scott Perry as Joe D’s No. 2."
This move was expected, but my question still remains. Will the Pistons fill David’s now-vacated position, or will they roll with a smaller (read: cheaper) front office?
