– George Hill

Value: Signed 5 year- $40 million deal in 2012

Projection: 2013-2014 season: 14.6 PPG; 4.6 APG; 3.6 RPG

– C.J. Watson

Production: 2012-2013 season: 6.8 PPG; 2 APG; 1.8 RPG

Value: Signed Bi-annual exception this offseason (2 years)

Projection: 2013-2014 season: 7.1 PPG; 2.1 APG; 1.7 RPG

– Donald Sloan

Production: 2012-2013 season: 3.5 PPG; 1.7 APG; 1.2 RPG

Value: Signed 2 year- $1.83 million this offseason

Projection: 2013-2014 season: 2.4 PPG; 2.0 APG; 0.6 RPG

– The Indiana Pacers added some new blood to their point guard rotation during the offseason, and did it without altering the team chemistry. The Pacers let go of D.J. Augustin, who signed with Toronto, and added veteran guard C.J. Watson who last played for Brooklyn, and young guard Donald Sloan who played with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2013.

Adding Watson and Sloan into the fold, adds even more shooters to the Pacers backcourt. This will help spread the floor for the Pacer bigs, as well as their wing players as they attack the middle. Indiana also still has their starting point guard George Hill, locked up for the next 4 seasons. Hill had a solid season last year, helping the Pacers almost pull off the impossible, knocking the Miami Heat out of the playoffs. With George Hill healthy heading into the 2013-2014 campaign, the Pacers have a solid rotation at the point guard spot to hold their own against their Central Division foes.
