Pistons still looking for that elusive big man
By Editorial Staff
The Detroit News’ Vincent Goodwill had a sitdown with Pistons GM Joe Dumars and the two covered all the bases you would expect, including news that the Pistons are indeed open to a trade, especially for a big man.
More precisely, Dumars says:
"I’m comfortable with the roster right now, but I wouldn’t say I’m content. I think we’re ready to go out and compete right now, but if we can add some help along the way, I’d feel even better. So we’re still in the mode of being able to add help, especially in the frontcourt with some size."
He also touches on expectations for Rodney Stuckey, the importance of Greg Monroe, Austin Daye and Jonas Jerebko, payroll limitations and the possible contributions from Tracy McGrady.
