Rodney Stuckey likes coming off the bench, likes playing next to Will Bynum
Well this is a first: a Pistons shooting guard who has recently not been starting is OK with that.
Rodney Stuckey hasn’t started since returning from an injury, and if John Kuester decides to keep him coming off the bench, Stuckey is OK with that per Vince Ellis of the Free Press:
"“I don’t really care,” Stuckey said. “I like coming off the bench, I like starting. It doesn’t really matter to me, but I like playing with Will, though. It’s hard to guard both of us when we’re out there because we’re both so aggressive. I like it out there with him.”"
I actually agree 100 percent with Stuckey’s comments about he and Will Bynum. The Pistons are a much faster, aggressive and just plain fun to watch team when those guys are on the court together on the second unit. Sure, they both tend to go a little too fast at times, but overly aggressive is certainly better than not aggressive enough. And that combo played a big role off the bench in taking control of the Cleveland game.
