Dennis Rodman’s agent says don’t expect ‘wild’ behavior at jersey retirment

Eric Lacy of the Detroit News caught up with Dennis Rodman’s agent, Darren Prince, and asked a question on everyone’s mind since it was announced the team would retire Rodman’s jersey April 1: Will Rodman show up?

Not only did Prince say that Rodman is excited about the event, Prince believes the experience can help Rodman recover from some personal demons, namely his battles with alcoholism:

"“This could be huge,” exclaimed Prince, who said Rodman still keeps in touch with former Pistons teammates Isiah Thomas and John Salley. “This could give Dennis that ‘Wow’ (feeling). He could say, ‘Look at this, I got everything to live for and I’ve got to stop my wild ways and maybe it’s time to start being a better Dennis Rodman.”"

I know it’s been said and said already, but this night is long overdue. Having Rodman back among Pistons greats is truly going to be one of the highlights of this decade.
