Dave Hendrie of CRFH Collective rated the best and worst introduction videos of all-time, and the Pistons made the best list (hat tip: Henry Abbott of TrueHoop). Here’s the video, a Need4Sheed.com capture, Hendrie used for his evaluation:

Here’s what Hendrie wrote:

"Music: 9 Highlights: 7 Sentimentality:10 Pump up Quotient: 9 Comedy: 6Solid video all around. Great use of history, well put together highlights and great local music. It The “Detroit Basketball” chant is one of my all time favorites."

The actual intro video is fine, but Mason’s brilliant introduction clearly puts the Pistons on the premier level.
