Pistons contact Tracy McGrady’s agent

Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press:

"Tracy McGrady says #Pistons have reached out to his agent. Said he is open to play "anywhere.""

"Tracy McGrady also says athleticism is back to pre-microfracture days."

This was the logical first-step for the Pistons. Whether or not they want to re-sign Tracy McGrady, I’d guess it’s pretty rare for a team to let one of its free agents leave without contacting him or his agent.

As far as McGrady’s athleticism, I’ll believe it when I see it.
