Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press sheds more light on why Terrico White won’t be back:
"But the Pistons weren’t impressed with White’s work ethic and he showed some reluctance at going to the D-League so the Pistons. The Pistons made the decision to part ways with White (life is tough for second-rounders) some time ago, but they had to wait until the new collective bargaining agreement to see if they had to retain him since they didn’t renounce his rights last summer."
That’s great info from Ellis, and it sheds some light on the events of last year with White, whose injury was originally projected to keep him out a few months but ended up keeping him out the entire season.
