Dorell Wright
Position: Guard-Forward
Height: 6-7 ▪ Weight: 200 lbs.
Experience: 9 years.
A couple years ago Wright had a breakout season with the Golden State Warriors, breaking the franchise single-season record for three-pointers and holding down the fort as the team’s third leading scorer after Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry (beating out All-Star Big Man David Lee). When the Warriors drafted Harrison Barnes (a younger and more college-y version of Dorell) they shipped Wright to the 76ers. He failed to really make an impact inPhiladelphia, but he’s still relatively young (despite nearly a decade in the league), sneakily athletic, an above average defender, and of course helps spread the floor with the threat of his often more than serviceable three-point shot.
