Josh Smith – Atlanta Hawks: Unrestricted Free Agent

Somewhat of a surprise, but Marc Stein of ESPN reports that Detroit will make a run at Josh Smith in Free Agency. He also said that there are potentially “5-6 suitors” for his services. I feel that the Pistons will be out bid by other teams, because I doubt Detroit gives Smith the max. He is an extremely athletic wing player, but plays too much like a power forward, if the Pistons do make a serious push for him they probably feel they can make him into a small forward. Smith will probably receive the $88 million max deal by someone this offseason, I just hope it isn’t Detroit.

Value: 4 years – $65 million
