Welcome to Detroit, Jorts! Josh Harrellson is a Piston.

According to the wizard known simply as “Woj”, it is official.

Opting for a human being slightly younger than Jason Collins, the Pistons have used their final roster spot to sign the 6’10 former Kentucky Wildcat. More details to come, but it appears the Pistons have as reported been in the market for a cheap big body. Harrellson may be best known to 1/6th of the world’s population as the Player of the Year in the Chinese National League, where he dropped a whopping 22.3 points, 18.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 steals. Looks like the Pistons have stealthily signed the future Greatest of All Time.

Fun fact: He is known as “Jorts” because he wore some jean shorts to a football game once. We truly are a trivia obsessed society bordering on malicious sniping, aren’t we! Anyway, welcome to Motown, Jorts. Sorry about all the future Jorts jokes.
