The Detroit Pistons lost to the Los Angeles Lakers last Sunday but it wasn’t without a spectacular moment.
Late in the second quarter, Andre Drummond comes up with a steal on the defensive end and gets the fast break going. He passes off to Brandon Jennings near midcourt, Jennings proceeds to take one dribble before throwing up what on the television broadcast initially looked like a wild shot. But it wasn’t a shot at all.
Jennings bounced it off the backboard to Drummond for the spectacular dunk. Steve Blake had been running shoulder to shoulder with Drummond and there wasn’t anything he could do.

So why are we talking about this dunk nearly a week later? It was named the NBA Dunk of the Week by FanSided.
Pistons fans would trade in the highlight reel moments for more wins, not that the two are mutually exclusive.
