It’s hard to tell what direction the Pistons will go with the 8th pick, but most new GMs are always looking for the next big piece to push the franchise over the top. Aaron Gordon has been deemed the next Blake Griffin for his athleticism. Gordon helps spread the floor and replace Greg Monroe if he is signed by another team as a restricted free agent. The only question is if Gordon will develop into a Griffin like player or turn into the next Derek Williams
