Pistons Palace Scouting Report

There are a lot of talented forwards that will go in the first round. Yet there will be a handful of good ones too that fall to the second round. Cory Jefferson is one of those players. He might not have the most developed game or be the most clutch player in his career, but he definitely has the physical tools to develop into it. Jefferson has worked tirelessly at his offensive game and it’s showing. His post up has improved, while he has also introduced a mid-range game to his arsenal.

Though it might take some time for Jefferson to develop into a threat, the one thing he does well already in the post is take care of the basketball. He had better turnover ratios than nearly all the top big men expected to go in the first round. He has great hands and is a great passer out of the post.

He will also be able to help out off the bench right away in the rebound department.
