Marc Stein of ESPN:

"Word is Wolves plan to sign Grand Rapids PG Lorenzo Brown to a 10-day deal this week, likely in time for Wednesday’s game against Boston"

The Pistons had reportedly been considering signing Brown, who was in their training camp and then signed with their D-League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive.

He wasn’t the ideal pass-first point guard Detroit needs after Brandon Jennings’ season-ending injury, but he was probably most familiar with Stan Van Gundy’s system.

Looks like the Pistons will have to move onto other options.
