While Augustin finished with good numbers (20 points, eight assists, one turnover), he wasn’t as good as that production would suggest. He missed two fast break layups in the Pistons’ disaster of a first quarter and fouled Mo Williams near the end of the shot clock on a 3-pointer. His defense wasn’t horrible against Williams, but it didn’t seem like his production really helped anyone else.. PG. Pistons. D.J. AUGUSTIN. B

C-. The rough shooting (6/15) is one thing, but Caldwell-Pope’s complete inability to slow down Kevin Martin in the first half was maddening. He was better in the second half, but that first half looked like 2008 Martin.. SG. Pistons. KENTAVIOUS CALDWELL-POPE

Yawn. Singler played 32 minutes, made a 3-pointer and… that’s about it. Andrew Wiggins out-played him in every aspect, which is the least surprising thing in this post.. SF. Pistons. KYLE SINGLER. D-

Pistons. GREG MONROE. C+. Tim noted Monroe’s defense after the Denver game and he was right — Monroe has been improving on that end. But tonight against a burly, strong center in Nikola Pekovic, Monroe struggled. He couldn’t force Pekovic off his spots, and he couldn’t avoid fouling him. That led to frustration, which led to a lackluster offensive game.. PF

B+. It was a mixed bag with Drummond. His rebounding was off the charts and his offense (8/8 shooting) was great when you consider he mixed in some nice hook shots. The bad was his defense on Pekovic, specifically in the fourth quarter when he stomped the Pistons with 15 of his 29 points.. B. Pistons. ANDRE DRUMMOND

C. Detroit: Where good 3-point shooters go to forget how to shoot 3-pointers.. SG. Pistons. JODIE MEEKS

SF. Pistons. CARON BUTLER. D-. Butler can still make mid-range jumpers after faking his defender off the 3-point line. That’s all I noted tonight.

B-. There are a lot of things I love about Tolliver. He hustles, he takes charges, he makes a good clip from 3-point range. I just dig his game. BUT I think he tries to do a little too much in games like this. He was productive, but 34 minutes of Tolliver isn’t a winning formula unless he’s raining down from deep.. PF. Pistons. ANTHONY TOLLIVER

Pistons. JOEL ANTHONY. INC. Posted a trillion. That’s it.. C

PG. Pistons. JOHN LUCAS. C-. Lucas did what he’s done in each game he’s played with Detroit — made smart decisions and played like a gnat on defense. His minutes weren’t bad at times tonight, but Zach LaVine (10-3-3 on 5/6 shooting) did a number on him in the first half. If you didn’t know, LaVine is the <a href=
