29. Final. 87. 64. 104

Pistons. D.J. AUGUSTIN. C+. Augustin was only slightly outplayed by Tony Parker. Given parker’s reputation and status, that sounds like a win, but Tony has been having a rough year.<p class=. PG

C-. Statistically, this was KCP<br />s best game all February. But he was slow on defense, and made poor decisions to help off Danny Green who happily burned the Pistons from outside.. SG. Pistons. KENTAVIOUS CALDWELL-POPE

Pistons. KYLE SINGLER. C-. Singler missed all four of his shots, but he was also the only Piston starter who was moving well and actually looked like he had fresh legs. And that payed dividends defensively. But you’re still having a bad game if you’re a complete offensive zero.. SF

Pistons. GREG MONROE. D-. Monroe did a good job bothering Tim Duncan and holding him to a down night. But his shots were ugly and opponents even Aaron Baynes’ and Tiago Splitter’s limited athleticism and mobility was enough more than Duncan’s to give Monroe defensive issues.. PF

C-. Drummond usually got to the right place defensively and sometimes discouraged drives to the paint by doing so. But he didn’t actually stop much when the Spurs went at him.. B. Pistons. ANDRE DRUMMOND

Meeks’ two-point percentage is right in line with the rest of his career, his free throw shooting (tops in the league at 94% among players with 30+ attempts) somehow manages to blow out his sterling career mark of 88%, and yet he is having the worst three-point shooting season of his career. And you can’t tell me he’s getting significantly worse looks than he did on the Lakers or Sixers.. SG. Pistons. JODIE MEEKS. C

PF. Pistons. ANTHONY TOLLIVER. B+. Tolliver was arguably Detroit’s best player in this game. And he didn’t have an A game. That’s pretty sad.

B+. The Pistons should never be getting badly outrebounded given that they employ two of the best in the business at that aspect of the game. But with Monroe and Drummond having lackluster games, Jerebko hustled and cleaned the glass better than anyone.. PF. Pistons. JONAS JEREBKO

PG. Pistons. JOHN LUCAS. B+. Lucas, like Tolliver, was arguably the best Piston in the game in spite of not going bananas. It’s almost impressive the Pistons fell to a really good team and legitimate contender by less than 20.

Anthony played just the final two minutes and hit a pair of free throws.. C. Pistons. JOEL ANTHONY. Inc

Pistons. SPENCER DINWIDDIE. Inc. Dinwiddie played just the final two minutes and missed a shot and set up a Jerebko jumper.. PG

Inc. Datome played just the final two minutes and missed a shot.. SF. Pistons. LUIGI DATOME

D. The Pistons were playing the Spurs, a significantly better basketball team. They needed to have a very good game to have a real chance. Instead, the starters came out looking like they were intending to play a round of competitive napping.<p class=. Head Coach. Pistons. STAN VAN GUNDY
