A. This one’s going to feel better than the last triple-double. Jackson looked like he was off to a clunker after finishing he first half 3-for-10 shooting. And then the third quarter rolled around. Jackson got to the rim at will, scoring on a variety of layups or dumping it off to teammates. Jackson scored 18 of his 26 points, dished four of his 10 assists and grabbed five of his 10 rebounds in the the third quarter. His grade, like you’ll see with Dinwiddie, is marked down slightly due to Elfrid Payton’s 14-point, 13-assist night.. PG. Pistons. REGGIE JACKSON

Not a great shooting night for Caldwell-Pope, but it wasn’t his usual struggle. Most of his misses came at the rim, and a lot of his offensive action came on cuts or drives to the rim — not settling for 3-pointers. His defense on Victor Oladipo was mediocre at best.. SG. Pistons. KENTAVIOUS CALDWELL-POPE. C

A-. Prince turned back the clock on Friday. It looked like the Prince of old in the first half — he brought the ball up, posted up and hit midrange jumpers. The jab step got him open repeatedly, and he took advantage. I wouldn’t expect this often, but it was fun to see for one night.. SF. Pistons. TAYSHAUN PRINCE

B. This was probably the quietest 16 point, 9 rebound game of Drummond’s season. Stan Van Gundy credited for his play in the pick-and-roll game and Drummond was able to score a little bit in the post and a bit via offensive rebounds. Despite Nik Vucevic’s line, Drummond did a decent job defensively, too.. B+. Pistons. ANDRE DRUMMOND

B-. The rookie still doesn’t look comfortable scoring while going toward the basket, but he made a handful of really nice reads for assists. He’s getting better, quickly.. PG. Pistons. SPENCER DINWIDDIE

B-. While Meeks was blown by a number of times defensively, his offense gave the Pistons a big boost in the second half. He scored 12 points on a variety of shots — from outside, on the drive — and between he, Dinwiddie and Prince, the Pistons got great production from their bench.. SG. Pistons. JODIE MEEKS

SF. Pistons. CARON BUTLER. C-. Butler hit a first-quarter triple in Willie Green’s face before going to his signature answering the phone celebration. That was worth a laugh, but in reality he didn’t have to do much when Prince was playing as well as he was.

Pistons. ANTHONY TOLLIVER. B. Tolliver has been in a bit of a shooting slump recently, but he got right back to what he’s done for the Pistons all season long on Friday. He hit all three of his 3-pointers in the first half, and took two charges defensively. He struggled with Tobias Harris in the second half, but overall it was a good night.. PF

B. It’s funny, Anthony is usually the Pistons go-to option when other teams are getting to the rim at will. Tonight, not even Anthony could slow the Magic’s parade to the rim… until the fourth quarter when he threw Magic shots away on four-straight possessions. Stay off his lawn.. C. Pistons. JOEL ANTHONY

C-. Williams was aggressive in his first-half run, and the bench actually played pretty well in its extended stint. But if Williams is taking midrange jumpers off the dribble, he’s doing too much. That was the case tonight.. F. Pistons. SHAWNE WILLIAMS

It seems like Van Gundy enjoys coming back to Orlando. The Pistons have won big their past two times here, and tonight was another solid job by the coach. Orlando got to the rim, and into the paint, at will in the first half, shooting 16-of-22. But whatever Van Gundy said at halftime — which Dinwiddie simply said was, “Play defense.” — the Pistons were a new team after the break. Friday was also the Magic’s induction of Shaquille O’Neal into their personal hall of fame. When asked whether or not he thought the Magic would induct him into the hall, Van Gundy’s answer was, well, interesting: “There is no chance. Absolutely no chance. There’s just no chance. It’s just not the way things went down at the end. I guess if it were a whole different group of people here, possibly. But not with the current group — that ain’t happening.”. Head Coach. Pistons. STAN VAN GUNDY. A-
