According to Gigantes Del Basket, that’s Pistons assistant general manager Brian Wright and scout J.R. Holden watching Aleksandar Vezenkov in Greece.
Vezenkov would be a possible second-round pick. He’s a 6-foot-8 forward who shoots well but lacks both other skills and athleticism to execute them.
The Pistons have committed to scouting the continent – Stan Van Gundy just went to Europe to watch Kristaps Porzingis and Mario Hezonja – and this is a little more insight to which players they’re eying.
