The Tolliver Effect is back for another year. For the price, it’s probably hard to find a better bargain. With Greg Monroe leaving town– being a foregone conclusion at the beginning of the free agency period– picking up Tolliver’s option was a no brainer. After being liberated from the bottom of the bench in Phoenix, he was a real surprise last season.

He shot 36% from three point range and ate up some minutes, and should fit nicely again alongside Andre Drummond for some stretches in the 2015-16 season.

This move gets a B+.
