Grading the Pistons offseason

Re-signing Joel Anthony to a two-year, $5 million deal.

This is another move that I’m indifferent about. He shouldn’t be expected to provide much offensively, but his post defense seemed to be respectable with 4.3 blocks per 36 minutes last year.

He should competently eat up 10 minutes or so per game and spell Drummond. He’s also a whole lot cheaper than Aron Baynes.

This move gets a B.
