The Cavs have resigned most of their own key free agents including Kevin Love and LeBron James who helped them to a deep playoff run culminating in a game six Finals loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Aside of their big names, they were able to find a taker for Brendan Haywood’s Contract, which included Mike Miller and two future second round picks.

Talks with Tristan Thompson regarding an extension should be the next priority. In breaking news, Matthew Dellavedova has accepted the Cavs qualifying offer of $1.2 million. Although talks with J.R Smith hit an impasse, it is expected that he eventually returns, even if it means a one year deal with a salary less than what he declined on his player option.

Any team that can include Love, James and Kyrie Irving in the starting line up should be good enough for anywhere between 55-60 wins. Coming to an agreement with Tristan Thompson will make them favorites to come out of the East.
