The winner of the competition for the off-guard spot is Dave Bing, Pistons great and former Detroit mayor.

In college as a senior at Syracuse, Bing was fifth in the nation in scoring with 28.4 points per game and was named to The Sporting News All-America first team and was also named Syracuse athlete of the year.

In Bing’s rookie year with the Pistons in 1966-67, he put up 20.1 points per game and won rookie of the year and followed it up with a 27.1 sophomore season. In nine seasons with the Pistons, Bing recorded 22.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game.

The eight-time all-star could score since day one and unquestionably belongs on this pickup team.

Honorable mention for shooting guard goes to Jerry Stackhouse. Stack was another big time scorer and put up 22.1 points, 4.4 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game in his five year stint with the Pistons.
