Lindsay Hunter

Lindsay Hunter was a tenacious 6-foot-2 170 pound guard. He wasn’t much of a threat on offense, shooting below 40% from the floor. It’s worth noting, however, that he might have been a better utilized offensive threat in the modern NBA because his 3-point shooting percentage was 36% over the course of his career.

What he was known for was his hustle and his solid perimeter defense. He averaged 1.7 steals per 36 minutes, which in a reserve guard is something you will definitely not turn down.

He had two stints with the Pistons over the course of his career. He played from 1993-94 through the 1999-2000 season, and then returned to win a championship at the age of 33 with the 2003-04 squad. He was a Piston through 2008, and retired as a Chicago Bull in 2010.
