The Detroit Pistons played their preseason finale tonight against the Atlanta Hawks–a team that they will be playing again in less than a week for their season opener.

Three starters sat tonight for the Pistons in  Reggie Jackson, Ersan Ilyasova, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. The Hawks sat virtually everyone who figures to see significant minutes this season–Kyle Korver, Paul Millsap, Al Horford, Jeff Teague, Thabo Sefolosha, Tiago Splitter, and Kent Bazemore.

In other words, don’t put too much stock into anything that transpired this game.
