Andre Drummond of your Detroit Pistons comes in next in our MVP rankings. He’s won both Eastern Conference Player of the Week awards that the NBA has given out so far this young season, and he’s been a true force of nature under the basket and in the paint.

Drummond is pulling in rebounds at a stellar rate, with a career high offensive rebounding percentage of 18.9%, an NBA-leading 37.3% defensive rebounding percent, and an NBA-leading 27.4% total rebounding percent.

He’s a true game-changer on the boards and he has single-handedly broken the backs of defenses like that of the Portland Trail Blazers and Indiana Pacers. Against the Blazers, Drummond recorded a 29 point, 27 rebound game, and against the Pacers he went for 25 points and 29 rebounds.

Keep an eye on Drummond, because as he goes, so go your Detroit Pistons.
