Kevin Durant is back with the Oklahoma City Thunder after missing six of the first sixteen games of the 2015-16 season, and he looks like the KD of old already.
Durant is still deadly from everywhere, with .533/.475/.891 shooting splits, and his length, accuracy and athleticism make him one of the most unstoppable forces in the NBA.
Durant will certainly be a top-five MVP candidate all season long if he can stay healthy, and the Thunder will be a force to be reckoned with in the Western Conference and the NBA at large if that remains the case.
NBA fans are thrilled that Durant is back, but fans of the Detroit Pistons may wish that he could have taken a few more days off to recover from his hamstring injury. The Pistons are going to have to deal with the full-strength Thunder on Friday night, and they’ll get to see just what the dynamic duo can do on the floor first-hand.
