  1. Jahlil Okafor (3)

17.6 Points

8.8 Rebounds

1.2 Assists

1.3 Blocks

45.8 FG%

73.6 FT%

32.2 Minutes

Off court issues aside, Jahlil Okafor is putting a pretty good rookie campaign averaging 17 points and nearly 9 rebounds a game this season. December has seen him miss time due to suspension and injury but also included a period of six straight games in which he scored atleast 19 points.

He has improved his free throw shooting, hitting 77.8% of his free throws in December on just under 5 attempts per game. He has only managed more than 10 rebounds in a game once in December which is disappointing for the 6’11” Center playing over 30 minutes per game.

So far the Nerlens Noel and Okafor front court has been an awkward mix between Offense and Defense and they continue to search for a point guard that can help Okafor, recently trading for Ish Smith from the New Orleans Pelicans.

Okafor is leading the draft class in scoring which should surprise no one, his ability to score nearly 20 points per game will keep him in the Rookie of the Year race throughout the season.
