Karl-Anthony Towns has by far been the most consistent player of this rookie class over the first two months of the season. In December, Towns managed to average nearly 19 points, 9.5 Rebounds and 1.6 Blocks per game at a very efficient rate.

After a surprising start to the season, the Minnesota Timberwolves are languishing 12th in West and will likely miss the playoffs again. The Timberwolves haven’t made the playoffs since 2004 when they were led by MVP Kevin Garnett.

Towns is currently ranked in the top two of his class in Rebounds, Points and Blocks. He is shooting  54% from the field and is 86% at the free throw line. Interestingly, Porzingis and Towns are one and two in the LEAGUE at the free throw line amongst centers playing 26 minutes or more.

With a PER 21.69, Towns is ranked 22nd in the entire league, ahead of the likes of Paul George, Jimmy Butler and Detroit Piston Reggie Jackson.

The sky is the limit for Towns who is well on track to give the Timberwolves back to back Rookie of the Year winners.
